This was a first for Sable. It's just a tiny spot too. I think it was because I overslept and she needed to pee.
Delilah chewed a wall in the basement and I totally know why. I had an appointment early in the day. I should have crated her that day.

Am I the only one who was thinking you were talking about a chicken? Sorry, Delilah sounds like a chicken name.. but then again, everything does.

Either my phone isn’t reloading new content or you’re all dead.

It’s like a post-apocalyptic drama!

I don’t want to be the only one of us left!!!!

DH doesn’t feel well and I’m currently in “the guest room” upstairs with Cooper ( the puppy) who until a half hour ago didn’t even know this room existed let alone “the upstairs”.

I’m going to have to kill him soon or go downstairs and fold up his crate and try to thump it up the steps because he’s pretty distraught.

Oh gosh I can’t stand this Whining all night!


The dog better settle down too.

Still trying to get the first wall built for my chicken coop. At least the frame is painted and assembled. Plus i painted 3 sheets of plywood today on one side, after i cut them to fit.
And cleaning the house because hubby coming back from vacation. He leaves NS in the morning.

Not to be daft, but where is NS.. Nova Scotia?

Wow, I can't even process this. People are just crazy. Luckily we're pretty well in the country. The guy across the street has a cow and at least one horse. A lady not far has peafowl. Several people all around have chickens. Just last week a coworker told me she saw a brown chicken next door from us, but there's a ravine that keeps our birds from traveling over there. So far, not crazy people stealing anything, just mice. I think my kids would go off the deep end if someone hurt their chickens.

After being caged all day yesterday Loki went outside with everyone else and even went up to roost at night. I caged her again even though she was roosting b/c 1. I didn't trust her, and 2. She was pecking at the babies when they were trying to get into their spot. She's still being a monster... IDK what her attitude is from, except she resents them.. IDK, it's not like the WANT to be by her or anything. I have some really obnoxious birds. And William is being a total monster. Unnecessarily attacking me. I just don't get it. I'm going to get out the spray bottle and treat him like a cat.

Oh wow, What a night!
BOTH of them.
That was traumatic for the dog for sure.

Doctors appointment @ 11 today.

Of course it couldn’t be HIS actual doc, he’s on vacation. Seeing an associate.

Just need to see a warm body who can type orders to get the ball rolling.
He needs a CT
And/or a prescription for cipro and flagyl.

Good morning! I'm amazed by that chicken stealing story, I know people get hungry but cripes just ask for eggs! Most of us chicken ladies are nothing but nice and would give anybody some eggs in a heartbeat if they were hungry. Speaking of eggs, Lulu was trying to do me dirty! I caught her laying yesterday in the back of the coop adding to her stash of 9 other eggs from EVERYBODY! She's smooth! I don't notice if i'm an egg short, everybody takes a day off sometimes but girfreind was working on doubleing the flock. I'm sooo glad I caught her.

That’s one of the things that surprised me when I first got chickens.

Heck if someone told me they were hungry I’d send them home with a few bags of groceries. Ive always got extras in my pantry.

Yep, that is where we met. Went to university, got engaged, and had children. Lived there from 1974 to 1992.
