Well, got Chad the pigeon in to his new enclosure. Hopefully he's smart enough to figure out the water system, or at least watch Lizbeth enough to see how she does it. So far he's just sitting there trying to figure out what to do with all of the space. He went from 1.2 sq. ft. to 8 sq. ft. in the course of 20 minutes, with a little fly time in that 20 minutes. I'll get some pics later. DH isn't all that thrilled, he kinda forgot Chad existed over the last 3 weeks.

:fl that Chad doesn't have anything harmful to the parakeets or chickens. He hasn't shown any signs or symptoms of illness or parasites, plus he got the borax bath for creepy crawlies that he may have had. I did have him drink some of the water from that bath, so he should be good on the inside as well. I made sure over the last week that I didn't scrub too much in between bird handling and petting, that way they get slight exposure and maybe get some antibodies built up. I hope everything goes ok now that they are in the same part of the house. My biggest fear is that one will get the other sick and we'll lose one or more of them. That would break my heart. :hit
:hugsChad is a lucky little guy, and it sounds like you are taking every reasonable precaution. :hugs

Mornin everyone.

It is not nearly as crazy busy here as at Nunny's.
 You been BUSY Nunny.

Mostly I am worried bout my Sable girl.
She is not eating much at all. She ate last night and puked it back up. :(
I think that bag of feed may be "off". She keeps dog treats and boiled eggs down just fine. She isn't a chewer so I doubt she has any blockage.
I am going to toss that new bag of dog food just in case.

It's been 5 days since she ate an actual meal of dog food.
Chicken and rice for the next few days for her.
Yup I am also going to call the vet.

Still undecided on what to do for the little fella but I’m not going to let him starve to death. So I gave him some wet food this morning and he scarfed down quite a bit. Dipped his beak in water for him and he drank.
He’s moving a little better but clearly tired from the whole ordeal. I set him up in a little crate with really watery gruel. (I read that they could drown in plain water.) He settled down and seemed to doze off.

Henny what was she eating?
Have you checked dogfoodadvisor.com?

I’ve had great luck so far with wellness complete chicken/oatmeal/salmon.
Nice poops. No farting. No puking.
