Looks like I need to go back and read stuff, but I first.. have to add on to my chicken saga..
Last Thursday evening I was scooping poop and noticed something strange and called the vet about a fecal float. The thing looked like a worm so I spent the $24 to get it checked out. They found coccidia, tape worm, and round worm. I'm treating w corid right now for 5 days, then doing the 3 days of safeguard for the worms. Good times. Fortunately she said it's ok to refeed the eggs back to the birds so at least they won't be going to waste. She recommended bringing a sample back in after a 14 egg withhold period after the safeguard and get a recheck. Hopefully it'll be clear.
