So I recently went through and changed my address on things. I got a good laugh today when my mom tells me I got a letter from a credit card company. (My important things were still registered at my parents. They haven't moved in 33 years) So she opens it and tells me they wanted to confirm I changed my address. By mailing me a letter at the old one?

Thoughts on this for Sugar? I don’t figure it could hurt. I’m worried more about what was her good eye.

Just like the stuff the doctor prescribes every time my kids stabbed themselves in the eyes with
A Ticonderoga pencil...
A ruler...
A sheaf of paper...(19 slices right across the cornea!*that was such a cool picture- kid #4 took that in for show and tell)
A metal trumpet reaming rod cleaner thingamajig...

Jeez school was dangerous for my kids!

Also two broken fingers, 1 broken ankle,
And four stitches in the head when kid #2 slipped in someone else’s pee and cracked his head open on a urinal.
Yup. Parenting. Ahhhhh, such good times.

It’s the closest store. I generally don’t shop there. I have some little square plastic drawer dividers I’ve used for food dishes. I think the red of the PB jar lids helps her see them.

So my crazy momma guinea took the babies into the hoop coop when it started raining. I showed up to close the coop since it was getting late and she had a fit! I went and got a dish of chick starter and a chick waterer for them. She kicked me when i put them in there!

Sometimes I’m not sure if she can or can not see from that eye. Maybe she can see light and shadows? I was going to put the ointment in both eyes anyway. It’s odd to me that the iris changed color on top of the pupil shape changing.
Her other eye is having problems now too. I think her face looks bruised on that side. I’m hoping with time that eye will heal.

Me too.

Your kids sound like mine. Once my cousin was chasing my oldest around the yard when she came to visit, and my idiot kid ran right into a tree branch and scraped the cornea off her eye. Fortunately didn't cause any permanent damage. several years before that the same cousin was staying with us and somehow My kid managed getting her eyebrow cut open. She ended up needing to 10 stitches and I got to see my child's skull. There's been a whole slew of broken bones, mostly in the arm area. Dislocated knees. A screw through the bottom of her foot. I thought boys were bad, but my two girls have been injured way more than any of my nephews.

So I was looking at A news thing saying that the hurricane is now a category 4 and was thinking do we have anybody in Florida and then I realize that Smuv's down there. Does anybody know if she's in that area?

I guess I've been lucky, out of 4 kids we've had 1 broken toe, a broken and dislocated finger, 1 fractured wrist and one leg fracture that delayed DD#3's walking by a month, and stitches for DD#4 after she tried climbing over the dog when she was 11 mos old, she ended up hitting her head on both tiers of the coffee table. Otherwise, nothing major for any of them.
