Both girls in the basement seem to be doing well.

Politely shared breakfast this morning. I can tell Cream Puff is still weak. She stands and walks around but is just exhausted.
Gladys hates her hobble. I got the foam to try and make the more sturdy sorta butt pillow kind. I have to figure out how to get it on so she'll keep it on and not eat foam. Her wound looks good too.
Printed the papers I need to send in blood samples so that's on the chicken to do list too.

Poor girls. I’m sorry they don’t feel good. I think it’s a good sign that they have an appetite though, don’t you?

Cream Puff looks like death warmed over. I am worried that she's a little wobbly. I think it's more because she wasn't taking care of herself. Just stood around and felt awful. Now that food is brought to her and she doesn't have to go far for water she seems to be perking it up.

It is absolutely miserable here today....steady rain and wind the entire day. The chickens look sullen and sad being stuck inside ALL day

I let mine go out in the rain. It does not get too cold though

Put everybody up, Lulu is just standing....waiting...wtf? Ohh that sweater, it is 71 degrees? Pick her up put her on the roost still standing, straight up...waiting omg. Sooo I ran in grabbed a pair of granny panties and stuck her neck in a leg hole. Settled down, started trilling, happy Lulu. Noticed those are my good granny panties....dammit.
