With Rats, you need to stake the trap down well. You never know where the trap will wind up otherwise!
I'm going to have to figure out some way to do that. There's a couple of small holes at the back of the trap. I can probably fit a tent stake in it. I could probably use it for screws, but I want it flat on the ground. I have all around the underside of my coop fenced in so w/o Odin there to discourage it's homemaking, I think it's created a nice little home for it under the coop. Before I got the chicks this summer the sebright bantam could get under there and the bigger ones would lie just under the edge of the coop. I kinda regret getting rid of Odin just b/c he seems to have been the only thing keeping the big rats away from the coop. I have them until he was gone, only small rats and field mice. Even the huge boys don't do anything to scare them off.

Nice day today. Up to 63° already!
Jealous!!!!!

My Fitness tracker says it is 54F now and the high will be 75F
That's the perfect temp range. It's a unicorn out here.

The holes are for a wire or cable to then attach the trap to a stake. Long metal tent stake should work.

Hey guys! Last time I was on here, I forgot to mention that we got a puppy! His name is Hunter. He's a mini goldendoodle, and he's five months old now. He's adorable!

Husband keeps asking where “his” soap keeps disappearing to.
Today Cooper got shouted at and honestly a swat on his heiney for chewing up a bar (didn’t eat it though) !

I couldn’t figure out how he got it since he’s literally in my business every minute of the day.

Tonight he had another one!
And when his ball rolled under the bed I found all the missing bars of soap!

Well squatchers, I found the real culprit.

ITS THE CAT!!!!
And I have proof.

That’s hilarious! Love the looks when he realizes he’s been busted.
