It's alot of fun Ruby, both sides are mutually happy about having each other. I'm thinking around April or May the residents are going to get to hatch some babies, don't know if it's going to be bator or broody just depends on the chickens.

Dilemma, hubs took the chapstick i use on combs and wattles....second dilemma do i tell him or keep quiet? I'm thinking silence is the best option here,if he knows he's got chicken lips I'll never hear the end of it.

Some things are better left unsaid. Besides ......think of the fun you'll have knowing the truth and someday when he ticks you off you can launch that chicken lip info at him.

Good one. My hubby would be furious!
I dropped ribs on the back porch, but picked them up quickly. Dh wanted to know which ones landed on bottom because he didn’t want those. Which I had no clue! I don’t care about stuff like that. I am only a germ-a-phobe if I know you have been sick.

Oh,he wouldn't be happy and i tried to stop him but he'd already applied it and stuck it in his pocket...oops! All i heard was "hey my chapstick!" and inside i was like nooooo! I'll have to crack open another tube for the chickens and i guess write "chicken's chapstick"on it. I personally wouldn't get upset by it,but he definitely would be.

It's me, i manage a group of four bantam faverolles hens and a roo for a palliative care/assisted living facility. Over the spring and summer I'd take my ladies and gentleman to therapy visit .Two of their little favs are laying now Sophia and Blanche.
