OMG we are at a wind chill temp of -8.

I will be checking birds for frostbite this morning.
They have been through tough weather where the overnight standing air temp hit -16 with no ill effects so .

Did I mention that I don't like being cold?

Spring is coming soon <<keeping my hopes up.

Still a work in progress.
I'm not sure about this boy. He is the most ungraceful clumsy chicken. I swear he trips over his own two feet. And he still prefers roosting on the floor which gets him covered in poop. View attachment 1628889 Lots of roosting area but goes into the corner under everyone's butt.

Happy New Year! Still fighting the flu. Throat feels like I swallowed broken glass. DH bought me popsicles and sherbert so I'm all set. I'm having coffee with honey in my holey jammies watching Frasier reruns. Rainy but strangely warm here today. How are you all ?
