The thing that gets me is that she is ranting about the cold water dip breaking method. And that isn't at ALL what we were advocating for.
Lol.
*Although full disclosure-
I did that and more with Dory.
I was desperate to break that poor girl.
Rae, that person is a nut.
Take deep breaths and go play with T1.

Wait, this cracker is complaining about the water dip method?? Really?
You're literally only getting their belly wet. How is that cruel? They stand outside in the rain all the time of their own volition. I use water dips in summer combined with penning and it breaks them the quickest out of any way I've tried. It's for their health.

I'm not saying it isn't a bad thing. This time of year it wouldn't be good unless it was in the 60s. But it isn't my method of first resort. If you have a determined broody, you may have to resort to it. I've seen people advocate ice water dipping which I think might be a bit extreme except during The hottest summer days.

Ice water seems a bit weird, I use the duck pool and that cools even my insane broodies off enough. Luna, for instance. She's a mixed OEGB and goes broody about every two weeks.

Seriously ya'll I don't think that cracker "thank you Banty, my sides hurt now lol!" has ever even had a broody hen. Only a person who has no idea at all what a fun,fun time they are would spout so much rubbish.
That person is firmly stuck in fantasyland, where broodies anxiously knit baby booties and save for dibbie college.:gig
