Official Squatch Watchers

Good afternoon! Stayed up way later than I planned installing bluestacks on a netbook from the far past. I got it done but it was slightly more involved than I planned, pretty much swapped out everything inside just to run a free emulator. I already had junk parts and was being paid but still...jeeze.
Now the bed is full of ice cream sandwich wrappers and tiny screws.
The girls are pulling the same stunt as Henny's calling me outside for nothing, which is really sweet.
He's a big boy! Or a large cock if i'm using correct terminology. He really fits his name nicely.:)

He's handsome, I don't normally think of cornish as being so, but you have some pretty birds and obviously large ones too! :)
I like the Dark coloration. It really emphases his shape without making him look bulky. I'm going to try my hand at some whites as well (because they dress neater) but I think I'll always be partial to the Darks. I love the coloration of the females too. The sexual dimorphism in their colors really helps early in determining pullets from cockerels.

This girl's background color is a little light for me to use her as a breeder, but her lacing is gorgeous.

I love DCs.

We've got one in the crockpot right now. I'll let you know how he tastes!
Nice! I have a few PCs in the freezer I need to cook.. unfortunately, some people around here (won't name names) are silly about real chicken. Which is why I'm getting CX next year. To see if they'll eat it.

You're in Canada right?

If you weren't there I would offer some DC stock. It looks a LOT like a grocery store bird.

As far as getting picky eaters to eat "real" chicken, I would stew them and cut the meat up really fine and turn them into soup.

Yeah, I keep thinking about locating some stock, but I've already got too many breeding projects going on. I have Partridge and Buff Chanteclers, as well as a Silver Ameraucana group I'd really like to resurrect.
Did that, in chili. They still complained. Tough luck, peeps, I made it, you eat it.

Well, if you butcher it properly, it looks more like a grocery store bird.
