Official Squatch Watchers

Trying to be a good agreeable neighbor is very hard sometimes. I looked out back and my older neighbor and his yardman are trimming MY grapevines! They're on my fence and don't need trimming. They did the same thing last year!
They also Pat crow up my bird netting messing with the one vine.
I get they're on the fence, but leave them alone! Just because guy watches gardening shows on PBS does not make him a horticulture expert.:barnie

Gah. I forgot to do the baking soda wash on the pretzels. So they don’t have a shiny golden brown exterior. They still taste good.

Ugh, got my bird netting put back. Hopefully the vines will rebound ok in the spring.
Wouldn't be quite so peeved but yardman was in my yard, older neighbor gave him the OK to jump my fence. How about ask me first? I'm not big on weird dudes in my yard and neither is Negan.
If he got spurred or hurt my rooster, my good neighbor status would be in real trouble.

Ok... my plan was order from Greenfire Farms and get only sex linked breeds. Their birds aren’t cheap but I felt like I was paying for quality.
I’d like to add Swedish Flowers again but at $29 for straight run only I didn’t want to risk more boys. Same with some of the breeds my mom fell in love with.

My question is has anyone ordered from hatcheries and which ones? I found Appenzeller Spitzhauben at My Pet Chicken for $5 for a female. For $5 if they are wrong and I end up with a boy I won’t feel as bad spending the money.

Hatcheries to me have such a bad reputation. In how they hatch (quantity not quality) and in condition of hatch and care.

How do I know they are a good hatchery?

Help! I’m getting chicken fever.
