I am not sure why hubby wants to go out to breakfast at all. :hmm

Just be glad he didn't invite them to your house for breakfast. At least when you go out all she can judge is your food choices.

I certainly hope he knows better than to do that!
They are elderly and I have giant dogs with poor manners.

You go and order whatever you are hungry for. Screw her! If she makes any comments about what or how much you eat, you tell her " my plate is full....no more room on it for your judgement" . Her actions are a reflection on the person she is....not you. :hugs
