Official Squatch Watchers

Henrietta is the same, still loose stools. She will not eat Feather Fixer or Chick Grower, so I am offering Layer feed. I gave her an egg yolk & tuna this morning, and only offering feed until tonight. I made her a dust bath pan, but you know, chickens are weird and she is staying on the opposite side. I dusted her a little so she could see what it was.

Our church had volunteer in the community day, so son and I have been at an Elementary School painting all morning. I needed to get home and check on the animals so I left him there to get his mandatory 6 hours for Boy Scouts. Plus, I selfishly don’t want to spend my entire day inside when it is gorgeous outside.
I have a cat named Henrietta. Cooper my orange tabby brought her home one day ...very pregnant. We took care of her and her 5 babies and once the babies were old enough we found homes for them but decided to keep the momma. My DH was very attached to her. We brought her in the house and she instantly was home. The other cats accepted her without an issue and she even liked Sawyer right off the bat.

We had her spayed and the rest is history.
Here she is....she is a tiny little thing.

Henrietta seems to be doing better today. She outside in the small pen, just chillin and content to just sit. Her poop is not watery, it is brown with some green and red. She preened herself a little, has new feather growth. The feathering on her neck and upper back has a pretty sheen. Her comb has color coming back too. She is drinking and pecking at the feed. I think she will make it. I’m so proud of her.

So pretty!!!!!

A lady found an abandoned kitten in her front yard yesterday, maybe a couple weeks old. She let me hold it at the vet yesterday!!!! I was so excited.

I made it to the garden center. :woot

I got everything I went for which wasn't much.
They DID have the kind of strawberry plants I wanted. I got 18 bare root Fort Larimie so we will see how they do.

I got several 4 pack planting pots. Oddly home depot does not carry those. I got several 2" pots too. That should see me through. :D
