Crickets in the coop would be interesting for them, but the problem is they will hide, and the chickens will tear everything up trying to get them. Then you have the ones that die and go bad before they're eaten, and they tend to be the smelly ones. Small amounts would be fine, but any more than 7 or 8 crickets per chicken at one time and you have the hiding issue. Chickens can only keep track of a certain number of insects at a time, and can only catch a certain number before they disappear into all of the spaces that cannot be reached.

I know people who go coo-coo for cocopuffs for the crappy bottled stuff from Turkey Hill or Wawa and drink it straight without any alcoholic additions. They even buy a crap-ton of it and freeze it. *shiver*:sick

I made it myself from scratch once with Jamaican rum and SoCo. It was tasty and fun was had by all!
