My girls (the dogs) are doing fairly well now.

Tilly is doing far better than Sable. Tilly has a little bit of an appetite. Sable is refusing dog food but did eat a boiled egg and a little bit of plain baked chicken breast.

Tilly is more up and around than Sable but they both are willing to get up and go outside.

Tilly discovered a new talent. She now howls in addition to the baying. Oh goodie.

The tiny Derps are able to get on the chair in their run now. Super cute seeing them sitting in that chair. They looked like goldilocks in papa bears chair.
:love

I think she hates Harry Belafonte, the banana song was playing. Six foot, seven foot, eight foot, spoot!
Daylight gone and I need a new phone.:gig
Wow.. you've got quite a collection, but at least you're not longer fostering.

Good point! I had the chicks in w/ everyone after a few weeks and William did not like those babies. He was so mean to them and wouldn't let them inside the coop, they hid from him in a nesting box. Eventually they realized they were bigger than he was, but he was always a jerk to the boys even early on.. I assume he knew they were boys.

hahaha. Sounds like she gave you a good reason to get a new phone.

Don't let the cuteness fool you, it is there to lull you into a false sense of security.
I'm convinced they are.always in communication with the mothership.
Anytime the beak is open and that derpy head starts tilting they're checking in. The ones here are getting good, they do it synchronized.....actually it is creepy looking AF.:hmm

I hate that.. like that one who had the xray that was all full of rocks. What happened?! I NEED TO KNOW!

We've tried quinoa & it does have an interesting texture. My kids didn't really like it either. The crunchy part kind of reminded me of the little balls that are in sweet pickles (I have no idea what they are). It didn't taste bad, but it was crunchier than I expected. Maybe mixed into something, like in the stuffed peppers, like other suggested would be a good way to use them, instead of just a pile of it.

They have the single serving packs that aren't bad taste wise. It's microwaveable. http://www.kraftmacandcheese.com/products/microwavable/original
You could divide up the regular size box into smaller portions too. I wish they had a 1/2 size of the regular box. We're only 3 people and it's too much. I will put leftovers in the fridge, but they aren't great reheated.

It's like when Klaus was taken out to heal and when she came back it was like she was a stranger. Not seeing her for 2 weeks erased the last 2 years of her living there. But they sure as heck remember that sometimes I have treats in the egg bucket.

Mine have been going through water too. I have a 5 gallon waterer and I put 4 gal in it on Monday... it's almost empty. I only have 14 birds.

Summer can happen anywhere between April and August in Ohio... but then spring reserves the right to happen any time in that period too.

Good idea! That happened to me w/ my first one b/c she was so early. I had almost nothing ready and I was lying in bed telling my husband what to grab while trying to accept that things were happening. How long is the drive the the hospital?

Oh.my.gasp. That's horrible. I really hope he was under the influence of some substance and doesn't normally go around groping people. You need an attack chicken.

LOL I thought you meant your weight too and I'm like Dang... how big is her yard?! I need to get me a thatching rake... and a yard. Is it normal for your blood sugar to go down while you're exercising? I honestly don't know.

That's sooo tiny!

Do you always give them baths before taking them to the vet? Maybe they know something's up. Zoey knows when she's outside that if I pet her I usually find a tick & she'll end up being man-handled so she won't come up to me when she's outside.. but inside she has no problem letting me pet her.

That looks amazing!!!! How long til the wedding?

It's not going to be long now. That's how it was w/ my youngest for an entire week. Her head was stuck, but she wanted out. Did you ever find out about if you can do the VBAC?

Grrrrrr it makes me mad that they're screwing around. How long do you plan on working, up until you deliver, or do you have a set date where you'll go on leave regardless?
The wedding is in mid July . I should finish by then.

The weather here has been messing with my head. Being on the outskirts of the more severe storms means the pressures go up and down outside and in my head.
Here we are having allergy issues with grass and tree pollen being in the moderate range

So they are shifty eh?
Lol that will give my shifty tater watchers something to do. :lau

I saw on the weather channel that it was supposed to stop soon.
:fl

We are forecast to get hot really soon. I hope that means the crazy shifts in pressure stop.

Yeah, super.shifty even I haven't grasped the scale of it.
Just had the most fun! Decided to paint my toenails, so it was an event. Chicks messing up things I didn't know possible.
Then Henry decided to see what lovely lavender tasted like. I squealed as soon as I saw beak to bottle, he still got about 1/4 of a pretty beak. I had to run him down, squish him between my legs and fight wipe his beak with my shirt.
So freaking squealy! The others looking like "what's his problem?"
Those boys are into everything!
The polish is dr.remedy so it is as safe as nail polish gets.
