Good morning and happy Father's day to all the big daddies!
Kim and Barb I don't know about those two they gang pecked me this morning demanding their bread bite Stacey was very patient and ladylike.
Kim jerked the whole piece away from me had to chase her down for it and she pecked me again!
So teeny tiny but so flipping vicious!:lau
Just like her namesake...Don't mess with my bread! :lau

Hello everyone.

Baby is still staying put. But my midwives will want to induce me if we make it to next Monday.

Like my new bathroom?

@Texas Kiki

In other news, I had a white Cornish and a Dark Cornish pullet sitting on guinea eggs. The White has hatched 4 and the Dark is still sitting. I have a buyer for these keets.

Went on the appointed day to be induced with my second child. She slid out while the Dr. was at lunch. CA traffic prevented the Dr. from getting there on time! The second can be quick! Best Wishes for a great and successful delivery.

I hope this one isn’t quick. I need to drive 1.5 hours to get to the hospital we are going to. I labored with Thing 1 for 36 hours before I got the c-section because he was stuck. I don’t want to do anything that could break my waters early this time. I think that is why he got stuck because he wasn’t in a good position when my waters broke.

Very Best Wishes from AZ. My second girl was 3 weeks late, and at the appointment, no water broken yet! Then, they gave me an enema. Here we go, baby in 1 hour! Some very disturbed nurses were checking me and talking too loudly, "She is 9"! (cm) They did not believe me that I was having the baby! Heavy contractions leave no doubt.

I was having annoying, but regular contractions all afternoon yesterday but they weren't to painful. They fizzled out overnight and haven't had that many today. I took it easy today and didn't go to church. I took a 1.5 hour nap this morning and 1.5 hour nap this afternoon. I feel great! I'm hoping baby decides to come soon. Tomorrow is the full moon, so we'll see.

Full moon baby -- get ready for an exciting life with thing 2! Those of us who are moms know the difference between the hard contraction that says, "Get out of the way, here I come!", and the iffy "positioning" type of contraction that comes and goes. Watch out for that pre-injection enema, is all I have to say! Best Wishes.:fl

Thanks. I'm trying to go as natural as possible. I was in real labor with Thing 1 for over 24 hours at home (trying for a home birth) with two nights of bad/no sleep under my belt before my midwives transferred me to a hospital. I didn't even want to get the epidural then, but they wanted to let me sleep for a few hours and see if contractions would pick back up and I couldn't sleep without it. I'm trying to stay rested this time around. I'm having less trouble sleeping this time than with Thing 1. If only work will stay out of the way of my sleep this coming week I should be better off.

If it is any comfort, I think the second was easier. But, the women in my family are very prolific, all my female relatives were shocked that I was scheduled to be induced. They had never heard of such a thing in 1987! Be well, work can always be done later. There will always be work!
