They're so cute! I love their decorative headwear. Are quails the loud ones?

Oh wow. That poor mama. Which are you going for, boy or girl?

Toothless is the same way. While she has no teeth she can still bite!

Glad to hear you're doing well. I spend way more time browsing the internet and online socializing at work than when I'm at home. There's only so much work stuff you can do to fill in a few minutes while you're waiting for stuff.

YAY!! What are you hatching?

Glad she found her way out & sorry for your loss. BYC will be here when you get back. Have a safe trip.

We are going to get a female I believe. A lot depends on the temperament of the pooch.
Tilly picked hubby not the other way round. She has been an awesome fit. Super happy to see him every morning when she wakes up, super happy to see him every day at lunch, when he gets off work, pretty much just a super happy puppy. :p

I picked Sable....just from her picture. There was just something about her eyes that said she was perfect for me, and she has been.

We have light cloud cover moving in. It is tatering got out.

I got the broody house assembled in the front yard for the yard sale. I will need help with the roof....maybe.

Soooooo....
The picnic table retails new at ~$200
I plan to ask 100.
The broody house I am planning to ask $175.
Cement mixer we paid $365, asking $275.
Swamp cooler was $400, asking $275.

To much? Not enough?

Well, if push comes to shove you can ask people what something is worth to them.
Older men especially are going to try and haggle anyway.
I think you have fair prices, but you'll have hagglers reguardless.
Don't forget to have plenty of change and bags. :)

Oh and Henny, watch out for theives.
Nearly every yardsale, or flea market outing iv'e had at least one.
And please, keep some sort of protection close, not trying to worry you but just in case. :)

Yeah the thieves thing ticks me off. It is why I still have to bring around the mixer and other giant but easy to steal stuff.

Hubs is way easier for people to haggle with. :hmm

I already told him this carp wasn't free to us so won't be free to them.

So far help getting carp together has been hubs for 30 minutes. :(

My son said he will help some on sell days. I get it it's not his stuff. Well except the welder. That ain't gonna be cheap either.

I do have lots of smalls so .

Yard sales are a hassle, but extra money and space are awesome just have to keep those good points in mind.
Towards the end of the thing if you want start taking offers for stuff that you just want gone or do bundle deals.
I kid you not on bags and change.
Nobody ever has either.:barnie
Glad your son is going to help out, a male mouth running to other male mouths is normally helpful to get stuff sold.
Your early birds will likely be oldies and talkers so coffee up my freind.:D

:sick I dislike chatty in person carp.

Especially at yard sales. Makes me feel like they are distracting me so a cohort can steal stuff.

:woot Appliance dolly! I got the big swamp cooler to the front yard. Now to make a hole in the garage.

Put on your happy face Henny, you're going to have to talk most of the day.
You can be semi relaxed with the oldies, their fingers aren't too sticky.
Omg to be a fly on the wall just to see the first overly underpriced haggle.:lau
