Birds are tended and all ok.
I was hip deep clearing the hoop run.
My son came out and shoveled paths to the coops, the front walk, driveway and a good section leading into the dog runs.
I am super glad to have had the help.

I did clear the greenhouse off too.

Bloody cold out.

So far we've not had a double egg day, though Lizbeth have is her normal egg today. The other thing is that Luci has no spurs, and the mystery eggs are darker than any of Lizbeth's have ever been.

Toothless lays white eggs, or light brown eggs. Varies day to day. I have 3 eggs on the counter, 2 light brown & 1 white. I thought it was 2 different birds until I caught her laying. Always the same size w/ extra calcium on them.

Morning.

Woke to at least a foot of ....... white, cold, unpleasant carp.
Gots me some shoveling to do.

I will. Already have my boots on.
I have good heavy insulated gloves too.

I am tempted to dig out the snow blower for the kennel...........it really might be worth the effort. It is in the back of the shed but not horribly buried. If hubs gets to dispatch from home I may see if he will help me get it started. Those pull start things kill me.

Well I shoveled some. Freaking heavy!!! There is a very slick layer of slush under that snow so it sticks to the shovel.

It is still coming down hard!

This all sounds like a nightmare. I hope you're able to keep warm and this doesn't sit over you. Did you take the pup out in the snow yet?!

Im awake.
So, I managed to kill my motherboard no idea how or why.
I shut down a program, blue screen and then no signal.
I had a backup the exact same board just a newer bios, swapped over and now my windows isn't genuine....smh.
I can fix it but jeeze.
I'm off the hook for the fruit too, luckily those neighbors really like the heathens "and me" lol!
And the basket was apparently from one of her hub's employees who is a butt kisser so it wasn't super meaningful fruit.

I have an older lady I help and her computer froze so she called Suddenlink about her internet (inet wasn't the issue!) and they told her to unplug it and plug it back in. She unplugged the power strip! Killer her motherboard. I tried everything I could think of. I never got a post screen. It was older anyway so she went and bought a new laptop for herself. Got her all set up and transferred her files & she's a happy camper. She was just happy to have her photos and everything back. She thought they were all lost.

I have an older lady I help and her computer froze so she called Suddenlink about her internet (inet wasn't the issue!) and they told her to unplug it and plug it back in. Yup it is a cold nightmare. Yup puppy has been out in it. Yup she thinks it is fun.

The eggs are starting to hatch! One baby was still damp this morning. Only 4 eggs, one disappeared somehow a couple weeks ago. One of the hens is still laying. This is the three white silkies, sitting on polish eggs.

No.

She IS drinking on her own and has accepted a few dog treats so we are making progress.
I am syringing into her mouth 10 ounces of a thick slurry made with her normal food twice a day.
Around noon I try for more but am lucky to get her to accept 4 ounces then.

Her energy level and breathing are getting better so.... It must be enough
