I had to go get hen feed. I was seriously out except what is in their feeders outside.

We took River with. That makes a 20 minute round trip take an hour at least. :rolleyes:

Everyone has to play with those droopy ears.

I am betting she was :barnie on the inside.

Tilly ate some buttered toast hubs gave her. That is fine as it gets her putting food in her mouth. I had to give her the slurry again since she would only lick a bit at her food in her dish. :rolleyes:

My bubble has gotten quiet a bit larger recently. Last year, I was a bit peeved to have to work on Black Friday while on vacation. This year it was WONDERFUL to have legitimate excuses (work and a distractable baby that needed to be fed) to get away. My husband's family does an extended family reunion for Thanksgiving every year. This year, there were 29 people in attendance. Since having kids, we've been staying in the house they rent for the occasion because it makes naps easier. Thursday morning wasn't so bad. People didn't really start showing up until 2pm, so we had a nice, quiet morning. Friday, everyone was in the house from pretty much 10am - 11pm. A couple times, I had a spare half hour and was going to spend it downstairs socializing but it just got to be too much. I'm mostly an introvert and I think having to put forth the energy to deal with a baby this year meant I had less energy to give to socializing in a large group. That sort of situation is stressful for me anyway because of my hearing loss. I have to really pay attention and put a lot of energy into following conversations.
