Official Squatch Watchers

@staceyj I shudder when I see them and walk fast! I cannot believe you study them!!!
Prior to having chickens though I'd pass that sort of stuff, now I'm oddly fascinated. -like seriously,
I'd be a great way to practice bumblefoot surgery....
Wait for it....
Without the blood! :gig

@casportpony
Doesn't look good. I think I would treat with Corid.
I thought I would post a pic of Sesame’s poop (she has had no blood, the bloody poop was from someone else) and a video of her breathing. She ONLY breathes like this when I hold her. I can feel her breast bone and she feels a little thin. She also has consistently layed an egg almost daily until last week.

Good morningish eveybody, just popping in to say hey. Got a busy day planned going to wrap some pipes! @pitbullmomma ,take you some time and come back when you're settled you know everyone loves you and we'll just hug the crap out of you,except Smuv, she'll smack ya! ;)

Hey! :smack I resemble that remark!!!

I guess I could have a hangover from being gassed by propane.

Propane is a noble gas. Quit bad mouthing it or I'll tell Hank Hill on ya.

Wish I could help, but I am still too new to chickens to tell.

I have brought her inside in a dog kennel. She just stands, stares snd closes her eyes. She won’t eat worms either or drink. She won’t make it.
In the process of crying I have a spontaneous nose bleed! Bled all over my clothes, my self and a large amount on the den rug. :(

Hey gang!
Jut had to share this.

You know you you're a chicken person when your cruisin' along in Walmart by the meat department

And something catches your eye...

And you pick up a package of fresh chicken feet...

...and you have the following thoughts:

Wow! Those feet are so clean!
Gee! Look at those nice nails!
Hmmm, awesome! No sign of scaly leg mites.

And then you practically SHOUT out loud:

:eek::eek::eek::eek: "Ohmygod WAIT!
is THAT a BUMBLE?!?!?"

That does look like a bumble.

If you scald your chicken before plucking, the skin and nail caps comes right off the feet. It is so much easier than tutorials I've seen on skinning the feet. The only time I've had trouble cleaning the feet was when the bird had an injury, like a damaged nail. I usually will clip the end of the toe off. If the bird had a bumble, I probably would have just boiled the foot and let the other birds have at it.
