Hi 21! I think maybe Tilly is faking it. I bet she remembers, just is feeling her oats. So glad she is better.

I get that feeling too. Hubs does not normally walk them so it could be she and he do not have an understanding too.
The old dogs were very good on leash and maybe he expects the same from her. She has never been GREAT on leash but will get there.

I am glad she is well enough to try and go for walks too.

:frow Morning Cappy, how are you today?

Henny Todd about killed me yesterday at the vet. He's never been leash trained and 72 pounds of pure muscle.
Still recovering from this virus and the infections . Last dose of antibiotics today. Thanks for asking.
I think Todd needs obedience classes! Insert whip cracking emoji

It is amazing how strong they can be. :th

I need to start really working River too. OMG she will be WAY to huge to have out of control.

Sable gave me the where to go business when I hooked the leash to her collar. :lau

Yeah she just says no to that carp. Body harness or flat out NO.

I've been told by dozens of folks that LGDs have to think independently, that said, I know several who will independently guard the critter yet still follow the owners commands. This guy was already two when I got him and even though I've made progress, it's slow and not lasting.

Getting him at 2 makes things even more challenging.

Is his leash put on his collar or on a body harness? It makes a huge difference in behavior really.
