:frow Good afternoon Hope, have a great day. Glad you and yours are good, hope your mom is too. We're good here as well, went to town today and saw lots of crazies, but no one comes this far out so we're pretty safe.

I know, I know. I deserve smacks and much worse for breaking a cardinal rule of BYC. My one pitiful excuse is that we have one wee little one that has been struggling and I was waiting to see if she would pull through (so far so good!) before doing a photo shoot. But I will try to get pics of everyone this evening.

Bantam cochins (barred and gold laced), bantam buff brahmas, and BBS ameraucanas. Also bought some RSLs and legbars for my MIL, but those went straight over to her house after they warmed up. She is so excited!

Got my stock pot on the rocket burner coming up to temp. It's warm enough that I don't have to fight mother nature to make a good stock. So I'll be canning tomorrow.

Alright got a few photos of the little buggers when I pulled them out to clean the brooder.

Question for those who have ordered from Cackle before: do they normally send extras? Breeds are correct but I got 20 birds instead of 17 (NOT a complaint. Just a surprise).

Roundest of birbs . These ameraucanas are hatchery choice of colors. They sell white, lavender, blue, black, and splash. Any guesses on what I got?
