I have one of my young roos that looks like he may have been attacked or something. He was fine when I let them out but not he is acting injured. Hobbles when he walks and lies down on the ground after just a few steps. Even lays his head down. I picked him up and he seems alert and I can't find an injury on him at least no broken bones or blood. I out him in my special cage that I placed inside the coop. If he just got flogged and needs a rest he can have it. He has food and water in it. I also through a bunch of rotting tomatoes that was on my vines into the lot so I'm wondering if it could also be him being drunk? Either way I'm hoping in a day or two he will be ok. When TSC gets more cattle panels in I plan on building another coop that him and a few others will go into.

I use that stuff. That looks like it would work. I like this for securing it.... https://www.lowes.com/pd/AMERICAN-V...LVDow17LS6py8yR6cMhoCO_IQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Hang in there!Well.....the wind is here.
All the coop windows are shut, chicks have deep bedding and I lowered the heat lamp. Ducks have a shiny new yellow 5 gallon water bucket with heater. I never did get their East window built. I cannot locate the piece of siding I set aside for it. They got green palroof screwed to the inside frame instead. Cannot open it but they have 4 others as well as vents.
I am about as ready for this storm as I am going to get.
Updated forecast said 8-14" of snowman parts.
The last time we had snow in September was 2000. I could go another 20 without snow in September.
I am not Bob but I use tin snips. A tip.....cut where a hole is...less material that way.Yes I know you already know that....put the tip for lurkers.....they are always there....

I prefer tin snips, but 9" Kliens work as do beefy dykes and bolt cutters.Plumbers strap is always hard for me to cut. How do you cut it?
It is always good to see you surface.
There are still....lurker lurkers that never post but read a lot.I have been guilty of that myself.
Good morning folks
