Good morning folks :frow
Harpy Eagles are very impressive! I can see the assault charges being "likely".

Learning the value of hard work and looking stylish while doing it. :thumbsup

Grandson?
:frow Good morning Henny, have a great day

Good morning Bob. :frow
Good morning Sue. :frow

Have the best day possible.

It was breezy here last night. The trees blowing around kept triggering the motion activated flood lights. I will have some cranky birds today for sure.
I think the ducks deserve some lettuce this morning after such a restless night.

Morning folks.

A bit tired today. I've been getting up with the boys so DH can sleep in after not getting to bed until 1. But I haven't been getting to sleep when I need to to make that sustainable. I'm really starting to feel the effects. Fortunately, I did get a decent stretch of sleep last night. I just wish Thing 1 hadn't woken up at 6am.

Used to have a hen that would lay a flat sided egg like that. the flat side was also a thin spot. Often it was so thin that you could see the yolk moving around inside the egg.

@Chickassan That vid was.... special.

Henny, Hope you got some rest last night with the wind turning on the lights 😞. Spoil them all and maybe they will forget it was a rough night.

I did go out and close all the shutters on the coops at about 11. I think that helped the birds sleep. Those lights are both awesome and annoying lol. They wake me when triggered so I have seen big owls, fox, neighborhood cats and bunnies near the coops. I am used to broken sleep so it didn't bother me to much.

Good morning Rae 😊 hope you get to nap at some point today, that may help 🤗🤗 do they ever nap at the same time?

I totally understand about the lights, when all our lights worked - it was so bright 😬 now I don't like going around the back because it's just way too dark. That would be scary seeing all those predators.
