Official Squatch Watchers

I was reading about the Cream Legbars, and admiring the blue eggs. I like that those are sex-able at hatch. Maybe next year, I have a full schedule of chickens right now! :lau

The only thing stopping me from getting legbars is the price. I cannot have a rooster so no breeding them. For eggs alone I cannot justify the price.

I agree on the price. I saw that Sandhill Preservation is offering them now, $5.00/ea st. run. That is what is making me think about them -- next year! I am not supposed to have a rooster, but so far so good, I have recruited all my neighbors by bribing them with chicks and eggs.;)

Was trying to post my view today, sitting on the deck 😍

The rain helped thank goodness, I've seen snow for this winter and I don't need anymore.

The north side of the bug run now has 2-3" thick ice covered be lovely water. It is getting treacherous to tend the ducks.

I dare say I may need to steal gravel from the dog kennel as a temporary fix.

We are forecast for 3-6" in the next 2 days. Sure wish yesterday and todays temps would have held longer.

This is what we get for living in the mountains. 62 today, snow forecasted by Sunday here. Enjoying the sun now. Too bad I had to waste it by cleaning out the She Shed/Brooder!😷

Good morning everybody :frow
:frow Good afternoon Fishy, have a great day

:frow Good afternoon Parront, have a great day
Hello folks,

Still hanging in there. Looking forward to having a couple months off work. DH has put in his notice that his last night of work until after the baby comes and I've recovered is going to be 3/5. So we are gleefully counting down the days. He hasn't had a single night off in about 2 weeks. We are thinking that when (or even if) he goes back he's going to give them two nights a week that he WILL NOT work. Even though it is mostly a sit at your post job, it is wearing (on him and our family) not to have scheduled time off.
:frow Good afternoon Rae, have a great day.

Sorry folks but work consumed me today... I love it when they promote the incompetent into management positions. NOT!
