Hi everyone! Just stopped by to see if anything's been said about that 'song bird ailment' that's going around. Kinda getting nervous as it's spreading.
Figured I'd pop in and see how everyone's doing. Hope everyone is doing well. If they came up with a 'images' option so I can ogle all the new (and old) babies from the past many months at once, let me know.

Can't remember when I was here last, but back in January this one managed to dislocate her other knee making it that she both her knees in 6 months, then came back to compete at 3 dance competitions.
They were both diagnosed with Hypermoble Ehler's Danlos Syndrome (no heart defects), but this one also has dysautonomia, but the meds she takes for her migraines helpfully also work for that. It's been a year.

Oh Bob would not like him at all, wasting food is grounds for fighting around that one.
I'm so proud of that guy, everyone who has seen him is in awe and thinks he's named Bob because he's a big ole b*stard lol! :lau

Jerry took his scrubbing very well, scared me a little he went limp thought I'd killed him somehow but he'd just power napped on me.
That rooster isn't right.:)

Looks like you have been keeping busy with your beautiful kiddos.
BTW chicken you is still my biggest pain in the butt so darn stubborn! :)

We've been super busy! Oldest leaves for college in 37 days so we've got a lot to do before then, but it's mostly been that I don't have time at work to sit around now. I swear we've never had so many drs appts. At work I've got 25 new computers, and only a handful have been installed. New wifi that still needs to go out to 2 branches. Made a technology plan. and a bunch of other random stuff. I'm hoping things will slow down a little some day.

Glad to near my namesake is still living her best life. Let's blame the whole Taurus thing for her being stubborn, that's what I do.

Any newbies in your flock?

Nah, can't be I did light two boxes of black snakes "freebies" and drank a wine cooler.
Wine coolers used to be good, my taste buds highly disagree that they are now.
The black snakes were a ton of fun though.

Where'd you find the black snakes? My kids love those! All we have around here (w/o going to a fireworks place) are poppers, smoke bombs and sparklers. I was disappointed they didn't have any snakes in those big multipacks they sell at walmart.
I'm not going to a fireworks store for snakes.
 
The neighbor bought a bunch of kid safe fireworks online and gifted me a couple packs. Black snakes
I hadn't lit any since I was a little kid, cackled like a maniac too lol!
Probably shouldn't have enjoyed them so much I'm sure they think I'm weird now.:)
And no new kids in the flock this year but not for the lack of them trying to brood everything even remotely egg shaped.

Hey everybody :frow

Got caught in the chicken run by a sudden rain burst and am very thankful that I thought to put my purse into the shopping bag and tie it up cuz I forgot about it all night outside :th I had put off taking care of everyone due to the rain, so i went after we got back from errands and it had “stopped” raining. Karma bites
Yes, I put my raincoat by the backdoor now 🤣
