The guys are working hard getting the space ready for concrete. I chose to give them 3 bags of peaches.

Yup 10+ bags is just to much for me right now.

I am seriously impressed with that he work going on.
Not only did they scrape away a section of lawn we decided after the contract should be made into a path they added and compacted base in prep for us to lay flagstone.
The rebar in a 2' grid and pinned into the foundation is freaking AWESOME!! The owner of the company even widened the drive so we can park 3 wide! That was above and beyond the contract as well. It made sense to do it and he did not mention additional cost.

While I hate concrete in general since one cannot plant things in it I love the idea of not parking in the street more.

Maybe a bit of both. They worked really hard and I appreciate it. Going above and beyond should be appreciated.
The driveway will be a bit wider than planned but I ain't gonna complain.

They certainly did. It is hard heavy work to begin with. The surprise of a foundation under the porch that had to be removed was extra curse word worthy.

Pouring has been upped to Monday at 8:30 for first truck.

I'm up early again but I'm steering clear of watching hoarders and instead going with 60 days in.
Hopefully that doesn't inspire me to go to the pokey for two months.

I think we are taking a break today from all the work going on. I will probably do more peach butter and some clean up of the back yard. Oh and pick beans and tomatoes. That means more processing I guess.
