Official Squatch Watchers

I cut my husband's hair and my own hair (really short and really long) It is in between lengths I have a problem with. Once my mom is back on two feet (she broke her leg 6 weeks ago) she'll take over my son's hair cuts (She's a hair dresser). The buzz cut looks alright on him but he's only 16 months and already bigger than most 3 year olds and the buzz cut makes him look even older.
I was a professional dog groomer, and husband wants me to cut his hair. Whole different type of hair. He got clippers, so i guess he wants to get buzzed. Not into that look for him.

I wish I had this week off. We have a half day wednesday and Friday and Thursday off. The next two weeks are going to be absolutely crazy, bc the school play is on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of december. I'm in it, and we're scrambling to get costume items, and last minute reheasals.
What part are you playing and what is the title of the play?

My son will not even let me trim his sideburns.

@apryl29 I don’t think hubby is okay with the chicken situation. I “messed up” our “good thing” with 4 hens and being able to be out of town. He think we have “about a dozen” when we actually have 22! Those Bantams are difficult to see, their presence isn’t large enough to count. He knows we won’t keep the “dozen” due to attitudes, roos, etc.

Sesame is so vocal and annoying. All she thinks about is those darm worms!!! And begs every time I go outside. She is too good to eat corn too. :barnie

So, my son spends a lot of time in the office on the computer and mentioned decorating the room for Christmas. Over the weekend, I stopped at Dirt Cheap, got him a 6ft tree with colored lights, red lit star and a strand of fancy dancing colored lights. All for $30. He is beyond excited this morning. #mom-of-the-day

Maybe a nice chicken dinner will improve his opinion of the chickens?;)

My brothers used to have me buzz their heads. I used to say I was 'shaving their butt'. lol Once I got distracted and almost shaved my brother's eyebrow off. I also may or may not have tried to remove his ear. LMAO... good times.

I can see how fewer birds would make it easier to go out of town, but either way it sounds like you would need someone to care for your animals while you're gone. It might have just been easier to find someone else to do it before. Chicken math always gets you. If you are getting rid of the boys, and you have mostly bantams, and fewer standard chickens then it's not nearly as bad. I'm ready to throttle my boys. Yesterday it's one cockadoodle doo after another and neither would go outside b/c I'm a predator and I'm going to eat all the girls if they leave me alone.
Aren't prelit trees the best?! My life has been changed since I got one years ago. I've managed to convince my kids that we can wait until after Thanksgiving to put up the tree. I'd be happy if we waited til the day before xmas. I always take it down immediately. We don't have much space in our apt & I have to do some major shuffling to fit it in the corner.

I was a fill in chicken sitter, my neighbor posted on Nextdoor that she wanted a sitter for her chickens, and she got several offers. Those of us who wish we could have chickens often like to get our chicken fix without the hazards of chicken math happening at our own houses!
