Official Squatch Watchers

I'm stuffed. DIL made a butt ton of sides: Mashed Potatoes, Turnip Au gratin, Brussels and Bacon, Green Bean Casserole, Spiced Apples. I made the NY Strip Roast, Butternut squash soup, Two loaves of bread (rye and white) and mushroom gravy. Plus we had deviled eggs and shrimp cocktail. No room for pies or soup. Stuffed.

I would think so... They're a bulb? Am I doing it wrong?
I thought they were bulbs you plant in spring. But i am going to plant the ones i bought earlier this year and never planted. If i don't plant them they will just dry up. I am no expert.:)

Oooh, i love shrimp! Something that tasty just needs to be eaten, cholesterol or not!

Up here they are a tender bulb. We have to dig them, dahlias, paper whites and many others up and cool store them til spring or they freeze out.
I did manage to get away with leaving the ones in the ground right next to the south wall of the house. They decreased each year until just a few pink ones were left.

Actually thinking about it the dryer vent is right next to them.....that may be why they made it so long.

I had glad's and jonquils right next to each other in VA and it was wonderful. When the early spring flowers died off I had glads all summer long. I wish I could find a fall flower to add to the mix.
