I had glad's and jonquils right next to each other in VA and it was wonderful. When the early spring flowers died off I had glads all summer long. I wish I could find a fall flower to add to the mix.

Like a perennial?

I planted some 4 years ago and they came up great the first 2 Sorings, but I refuse to dig them up.
I enjoy planting plants, soil, mulch, etc. but I hate to water and weed. I guess it is not my thing.

Yes, watering can get boring. It is nice to have automatic sprinklers like they do in FL. Weeds i don't mind pulling because it is a calming activity and i feed what i get to the animals and they love it!

I have Snowdrops I might have to dig up and take when I leave. Bloom before Crocus and survive being snowed on. Their cute too.

I have not seen any for sale here. I agree, they are lovely!

Yes. I also have these wonderful flowers in front of my deck that I haven't been able to identify or find as I'd like to plant more. the humming birds love them.

What color is the bloom Bob? What leaf type?

No idea on both counts! LOL Someplace I can afford and take my already existing flock. Unfortunately not a planned move, but necessary.

Did you post them on the garden thread? People there are quite helpful identifying unknowns.

Snowdrops and pink bells are a fun flower. They clue me in that spring is close.

Crocus are very cute too. They like staying dry in the drummer so I planted them away from thirsty things.
