He's sneaky! He knows he's not supposed to attack the mamma! Waits till I'm almost out the door then runs up behind me. Doesn't jump at me but acts like he pushed me out. Clucking and strutting all triumphant. So I walk right back in and heard him towards the pop door.
That's when he jumps and ruffles his neck feathers and goes on the attack. I keep it up till he's out the door then stand there so he doesn't come back in.
He pecked me today and was trying to beat me with his wings. No real spurs to speak of but those will be filed if he keeps this sh!t up.
I'll have to catch him next time if I can. He is fast! Big too! Last weight was over 6lbs. He'll be 7 months in Dec.

Side note my little Svart B. Cochin mix is thinking of going broody.:barnie
Lots of feathers in her favorite nest box. Pulling the pterodactyl when I or other hens approach. Little dinosaur.
I would have put him on the list for freezer camp already.

I got the new ironing board cover done. I have not used the sewing machine in years and years.
The new bifocals are messing with me hard core.
Nothing like an undeserved eye headache.

I used to do needlepoint......I think my eyes are to far gone to enjoy it now.

I am going to mess with making some pillow shams to get back into it before I wreck my fabric.
How is your stash doing? Not much for fabric stores around here. Maybe i can get started on this wall hanging soon.

I so want to hatch eggs, eveybody else is doing it...the peer pressure is insane! The only things i could hatch now are favaniques, favacanas, and favawares I'm supposed to be hatching faverolles if anything but those goobers aren't laying. :(

Just make a pot of favaBEANS and you'll be ok! :p

I cross stitch.... that's about as creative as I get.... but I have no less than 5 going at a time... :D

I am way good on fabric.
I have 12 yards of dark blue denim, 8+ yards of pretty blue and white cotton, 4 yards of the drapery fabric as well as my multitude of canvas and cotton prints I couldn't resist.

I used to make things all the time. That job I had left my hands stained with to much grease ground into callouses to even think about touching fine needlework or cross stitch.

All the drapes in the house are ones I made except the ones in the master.

I am finally feeling up to tackling building projects and fixing things up. I did paint the living room and hall before I got sick in September/October. The bathroom and kitchen are on the list too.

I have to limit the ones I start on or it will get to be to much.

I miss cross stitching but right now I have home fixing needing me.

I think I only have 2 still myself and they are from the 90's lol.

I have the refrigerator magnets cross stitch I made my mom from the late 90s! Forgot I had *stolen* them from her house to hang on my fridge while she was here for 2 months. Want I should take pics of them?
