Thanks. It was a fun and learning experience. I have mirrors and drawers stacked up in my closet for future projects.

I have a solid wood dresser I got off freecycle that I STILL need to redo... also, a solid wood storage/toy box. I'll get there... someday......

The best month mine is the 20th
Hubby is the 19th.... of 1977.... so he's younger than you.. neener.

August----- Leo

We don't like Leo's

We don't like you neither! :smack

Yes I know you are kidding me. :hugs
Its all good. I can take it.

My hubby is an October birthday too.

Can I be in the club as a probationary member? You know, since hubby is one of you guys.

Maybe I could just bring the cookies to the meetings and stand in the back in the shadows or something.

LEO STRONG 21 HENS!!!! We do not grovel to inanimate objects (scales). HA!

Good morning my sweet baboos! Drs appointment today of the female kind... soooo, I'm goona be super medicated afterwards.......

Chuck, My thought is “why would you thrown an egg???” That is weird to me! Bury it, place it in the trash. Throw it???

Rjohn, I don’t know what to think about those eyes!

You all are so talented!

Here was my crafty summer project. I turned my childhood dresser into a bench and made my own cushion & pillows.

Wow. So pretty!

They do get pushy about their treats.
Mine sit by the door in the morning now and watch for me, hoping I bring them something good, then they inspect what I bring in (egg bucket) to see if it's food. I only give them good stuff (warm mash) in the mornings when it's below freezing.

I cross stitch.... that's about as creative as I get.... but I have no less than 5 going at a time... :D
You just reminded me that my giant human asked for cross stitching stuff a while back. Thank you!

Great news, no heavy snow this year because hubby just ordered a snow blower! :gig
We're going to have a super cold winter this year (accding to the weather guy) so I can only assume it's b/c we got chickens this year.

So, I have a few cockerels and only one crows, which seems to be normal. So, if another crow cockeral takes over as the lead, will the new one crow and other stop?
I have 2 boys and Willy started crowing first, then Odin. We had Steve who started much later, but he's gone now, but they all crowed. They do this annoying crowing one right after another thing. Your non-dom cockerel could be a late bloomer. Steve was about 5 months old before he started crowing and Willy was like 2 months old. Not sure about Odin, but it was after he was outside so he was likely 3-4 months old.

I would love to be 20 again!
Me too! That's before I made most of my worst mistakes. But would I get to keep my current knowledge? What am I saying... either way I'd do it again. I might get a backbone sooner.

Oy, you guys posted 20 more pages literally overnight! I got to the part with cross stitch, then gave up. Looks like we're doing birth months? I'm in the middle of July. My littlest brother was born five days before my fifth birthday, so we like to joke that he was my early b'day present. It's really funny, cuz he and I are really close.
