I've been running up and down the steps playing nursemaid.
At 4:50 am DD (wisdom tooth kid) texted me to tell me that she felt "sick". Sore throat, achy, sore skin, sore throat, nauseous...
She said she felt exactly like she did when she used to get strep throat.
Delivered water and Tylenol to her and took her temp.
Fever, but not through the roof.
Hit the local MINUTE clinic when they opened up at 8:30 but still had to wait a bit. (Should have checked in online before leaving the house)
Flu test negative
Strep A and B negative
Said it was just a virus.
Fever just came back.
This kid just can't catch a break.

Hope she feels better soon. Luckily my kids didn't get sick much when they were little. Chicken poxs and allergies were the main issues.

Me too. We've lost 9 chickens to cocci, bear attacks, and the dreaded genetic disease involving the lack of a y chromosome.(In case you don't know what that means, it means they were roosters. Chickens are different that humans in that the hen's gametes are the ones which determine male or female. They have an XY chromosome, males are YY)
