You're better off. Try talking your parents into letting your get more chickens. It isn't so much that the anoles are a pain, it is the crickets that they need to eat.

From what I've heard, mealworms are easier. You don't have to worry about them hopping away, or singing at night.

I didn't realize until later in life that I have Nordic blood running through me..... I was born and raised in FL... hate Hate HATE the heat... my first time in snow when I was 23... I was in Chicago... walked around the whole winter outside in my bare feet... it freaked out my (then) hubby and his family... it didn't bother me at all....

Talk about weird chicken melting..... one day last week I was out feeding the Brat Pack... and one of the pure white ones was all BLACK under her wings... it looked like she had wrangled with something and her wings were all droopy and weird looking. As it was kind of late, I figured I'd check it out the next morning... next morning... pure white agin and her wings were fine... I'm like WTF chicken!!!! Friggen weirdo......
