Official Squatch Watchers

PBM is still waiting on news about the job. Took a day off and had chickens in the house.

Sam is battling a cold.

Cap has bats in the belfry, or critters in the attic.

Stacey needs recipes for organic meals that can be frozen and reheated well.

Oh and PBM is making a neat thing for the birdies
You guys,

I am officially the Craziest Chicken Lady Alive, because I bought the stuff to make this yesterday (as seen in this month's Backyard Poultry magazine):

Like, I actually bought a freaking Bundt pan.

I used to make fun of people that do this kind of stuff. And now I am one!!!!

Here's the link, in case you guys want to make one too (you know you do!)

I cannot wait to get home tonight and make these! I'm gonna make one for each coop.

Crazy, crazy Chicken Lady!

It's because you do so much other stuff you probably don't eat like you should. I bet you eat like a chicken just peck and go all day long. :)
No, I ate. I eat all the time. I normally eat like a teenage boy (a lot and often). I ate 3-4 different times last night while I was working. The problem was I last ate my normal breakfast around 5am (1/2 cup of oats soaked overnight in 3 cups of yogurt with powdered banana and maple syrup) and I wasn't really hungry and didn't feel like making something when I finished with work at 9:30. By time 1:30 rolled around, it had been 7.5 hours since I had eaten something. Also, I tend towards hypoglycemia and I think my blood sugar crashed. Next time I think I'll eat a hunk of cheese before going to sleep and see if that helps.

Sassy is working on sending her cockerels to Sam.
Ruby has tests today.
RJ is not giving Piggie updates like he should.
Cap has been shopping like a crazy woman.

I am horrible at updates.....

More to come....
:lau

Whew. We were planning on going to six flags today, but it's closed cuz of the weather. I'm actually a little relieved, cuz I have some hw and it's frigid outside. Test went well. A bunch of them got moved, so it was only one. Yay for snow days! I'm show y'all some pics of the flock blocks I'll make once I'm done with hw!

Well, it's good to hear I'm not the only one who went a little bat crap crazy! :D

Rae, good to hear your toe is better. A gallon of bone broth really hurts when it's dropped on ones foot. And Cappy has always been a little off her nest, nudgenudge. :p

RJ has not given piggie updates?! For shame..... guess maybe I'll quit placing dibs on the firstborn!

Talked to my aunt in Virginia just a couple minutes ago, she's getting married again i think this is number 5. She's in her late 60's so more power to her. No way I'd do it though, having to figure somebdy else out is exhausting . I like men they're awesome but i don't want another one .:)

We moved Xena and the Nuggets over and, today, moved the 5 peeps out of the garage and into the BH Coop. We also moved the hay bale from in front of the Nuggets coop and have let them all mingle in the big run. So far, Xena is kicking everybody's arse who comes near her nuggets, so that's cool.

We have 27 eggs in the incubator for the NYD hatching. Our first candling will be today, so cross your fingers and toes!
