OH! It gets better! I can only participate in the program if I have 1 male and 1 female of breeding age, which I don’t. This guy thinks I am nuts ( I am sure). Waiting to see what he says!

I can see now why most people prefer to ship eggs rather than birds. He said go to the vet, get tested and get a health certificate OR wait 5 weeks and get NPIP certified.

Good one. Like those two smacks for good measure. Also, WELCOME BACK SMUVS!!!!! I MISSED YOU!!!!!![]()
Well all, I JUST got the milk drinker to bed. I'm going to hit the sack too. After staying up all night and getting 4 hours of naps in today (2, 2 hour naps), I'm going to need as much sleep as I can get.
Tomorrow, is incubator lockdown and brooder setup day. I need to kick the roosters out of the coop and convert it back into a brooder. Since the babies won't need a run for a while yet, I'm putting a predator proof shelter in the run for the roosters. I'll probably move the chicks to a broody tote and a 5x5 PVC run once they don't need the heater plate anymore and get the coop ready for my first hatch of Cornish babies!

Wouldn't that make it the "rabbit shed" then?View attachment 1210159 View attachment 1210160 The goat shed is close enough to finished i can put the rabbit cage in there when i am done!
