Wait... so did the chick die in the end? Is that why you didn't see it 'hatch'? I wonder if there was something wrong w the embryo, or if it had to do with their methods.I just found this cool video. The only disappointing thing is that you don't see the chick after "hatching".
I'm so sorry about Sesame!Sesame was more swollen, mouth breathing and not wanting to move. I pulled her out of the crate to love on her, when I sat her back down she went back to the crate to stand. My husband culled her for me. Although she had energy and good color, I knew she was uncomfortable and it was the right thing to do.
I have 1 hour to tend to chicks, eat, shower and get to physical therapy. I will be back later to catch up.
