How long were they laying before you set these eggs? Sometimes it can take a month or two for everything to get working properly in a hen's system.

I'm pretty sure it's been two months but not certain

Maybe they need feathers trimmed in the appropriate areas.

I've heard cochins could have problems breeding because their extra "fluff" gets in the way. My Cochin roo has near perfect fertilization rates with my Doms and Dom crosses and I never did any trimming on him.

Have you checked the fertilization on any of the eggs you've eaten? The eggs should have a little white bullseye on them like this.

Well, I finally got the stuffy little milk drinker to sleep about 20 mins ago, so I should start thinking about hitting the hay. Hopefully we'll have little chicky babies tomorrow!
