Official Squatch Watchers

Looks like a solid pip though I'd give it a little more time.
The egg in the upper right corner was one of the first ones pipped... and, I just noticed, it's pipped on the wrong end. It's still moving and breathing, so debating if I should assist.

This morning was craptastic, cold as a witches teat, all the water frozen solid. I had to bring the roo in to work on his foot, he broke a feather so i removed the shaft and corn starched him up. The whole time I'm listening to hubs go on about how much attention the chickens get. I made the roo some oatmeal and let him eat in the kitchen just to rile him up...big cry baby.;)
They are jealous creatures. Jealous of the kids and Pets. Wahwahwahhhhhhh! Get in line. You are NOT an actual baby.

I had a good day but started out crappy when i discovered yet another speckled sussex dead:hit. I think it was my spare cockerel who never looked good since the move to the big coop. I did not look hard yet because i was in a hurry to meet up with the lady about the bunnies and have not steeled myself to the task .
But i got my 2 bunnies for a bargain price, and they are settled in the goat shed with a box of hay to cuddle in.
Did some shopping and got the cutest dang toy.... it is a pick up truck with a stock trailer and a herd of goats to go in it, babies and all. On sale 40% off at TSC! :loveGot another axe as well, great price. But they were out of mallow cups! Luckily i have extras put aside.:clap
I am sorry for your loss. I admire that you always look on the bright side Cappy. I'd just be a crying mess.

*MALLOWCUPS! My all time favorite.

If i start crying it can go on all day. I try really hard to compartmentalize things, telling myself to deal with it later. Learned a few coping skills over the years.
Mmmmmallow cups! They were hard to find in FL, but here they are easier to find. I was going to buy some at TSC because they have 4 pks on sale.

I would check the egg to see if it has more problems than just being breech. If nothing else, I would widen thw hole to make sure the chick has a good breathing hole and doesn't get gooped up like my CS did.

Well. The Milk Drinker is asleep. We took a hot, steamy bath. He enjoyed that and it seemed to help his breathing. I've found the right homeopathic remedies for what he has and his breathing is normal! I'm going to hit the hay soon. @Smuvers Farm good luck with the rest of your hatch!
