We are to be near 60 today.
:wee
My kennel is finally drying so the puppy will get some good outside time. Once she has run some energy out I will put the big guys out and take the pup for a long walk.
She is growing fast!!
Wow! That sounds like a wonderful day!
Here in the attic freeze zone of coastal North Carolina we are finally going to break through the glass ceiling of freezing temps and hit a whopping 51-ish!
I'm hoping the little palm tree in my backyard survives. When we moved here 5 years ago it was a sickly little thing and I've pampered and fed it into a little beauty.
I can't wait for a break in this weather.
I've itched myself raw I've been so dry now for weeks. No amount of hydration or lathering myself up with a bucket of moisturizer has helped.
It reminds me of the years we lived in Arizona (its a "DRY" heat they said...yeah right).
School is cancelled again today because they have yet to hear about the invention of the snow plow here, or shovels, or even salt, and the ice in roads that are shady most of the day had a thick, slick layer of ice on them. It might take 2 days for warmer temperatures and cars driving over them to break it up.
Hopefully this afternoon some actual melting will take place and I can let my girls out of their run. They have refused to walk on the white stuff and elected to spend their time "inside", splitting up into pairs and trios, some in the run, some in the house. (Their house*)

Here is my cute puppy Sable.
I know I posted her before.. :p
Puppies are like baby chickens..... They bring a smile.

Yes hopefully he'll pass the swallow test next month. He failed last time, due to the trach. Then once everything is removed, hopefully we can try speech therapy again. Looks like he might have to use a device to aid him.
Sounds frustrating for both of you. I'm sorry.
There are some great speech therapists out there, hopefully he'll get one :flwho can coach him on both the swallowing and the speaking.
If not, thank God for devices. :hugs

Morning all and welcome misty:frow Weather is starting off ick, but sure to get better. we're up to 36* been raining off and on during the night with a winter mix due to hit about now. All supposed to go away when the sun comes up and into the high 40s today. Going to hit 60 on thursday, so probably a good day to send roosters to freezer camp.

We had 1 but they couldn't do much at the time, cause of the trach. So hopefully we get this person back, they seemed ok.
