Is it warmer in there now?

Filling the waterer... After you fill it, align it so the hole is facing you, then lift it straight up and rest the bottom edge just below your ribs, hold on to the red part, one hand on each side then bend over quickly. And set the waterer down. Most of the time I barely get a splash out of it if I do it that way.

That's my favorite alone time!

Idk why it wasn't working, but this made me lol.

I haven’t had trouble in a while. I was trying to fill it through the bottom opening when the coop door caught wind and almost slammed into me. Think the waterer got off balance in the snow and I turned it a little. When I went to flip it over the whole bottom popped off! Again why I fill it outside....:he

Good night friends. :frow DH just got home from his work trip and he is tired and crabby, and we all know what that means....
If any of you night owls feel up to it, please scan the unanswered posts section and help out a few peeps. There's some awful worries people are posting over there and need more help than I can give or even know where to begin. One person thinks they have an extreme prolapse situation and no one has answered them yet, but it appears by the photos that their other birds may have pulled everything out the back door of the poor hen in distress and I don't even know what to say because this is not something I have experience with.

Unanswered posts section?!?? I've never seen it

@MrsMistyReal last summer a 4 the year surgical intern almost killed my husband in an emergency room by opening up an 18 inch abdominal incision with his bare hands. It was a post op infection. I told him the day beforewhen he was writing orders for discharge that it was hot site and he should not be discharged(as in hot taters hot) I come from a varied medical background---- I said "see ya in 24 hrs buddy."
He had a soup of germs brewing in there including msra.
I could have killed that kid. I hope he learned by the experience.
*we were back in 22 hrs.
:eek:holy chittles thank goodness you were there to advocate. I hope this so and so isn't a doc. Hope your hubby is doing better :hugs

Only warmer because i have been working. I need to insulate the whole thing and turn on the heater. I don't mind cool, i just want it above freezing.

Wow, out of my box of knowledge too.

That happened to me the first time. Wore the whole damn thing. Such a stupid design. The bottom should lock in. You need 4 arms to flip it. When I flip I also put pressure against the red part to keep it locked in place. That's why I bend to flip.
