I decided to take a sick day, because...well, it's Tuesday. And I have 26 sick days to burn through until March 9 (which is my last day). Guess they better start finding some subs!

So anyhoo, y'all are stuck with me today. How's everyone doing?

I was wondering if you had any time so you could work it out so you don't have to work your full notice. Here most people who leave use up their vaca at the end of their notice (Put in 2 weeks, but take the last week in vaca) then we get to cash out 1/2 our sick time we have left. Just based on that alone I'd get to take 6 weeks of vaca and cash out 200+ hours of sick time. I'd be set for a couple months.
2 months notice seems like sooooo long... esp if you hate it there.. Hopefully they don't go out of their way to make you miserable before you leave.

I wish my chickens would go out into the snow.. they just stand there looking pissy. They desperately want out, but don't want to get their little toes cold.

One of my biggest pet peeves about going to the dr. I hate feeling rushed and like I’m a number to get past. I wonder how much better the health care system would work if it listened to the people.



Weather channel shows single digits at night and teens in the day for the weekend. The wintery mix forecast is bull taters!
Lived in Ohio my entire life. Within a 30 min radius.... can’t imagine living anywhere else.

Same, but I can imagine living elsewhere. I went to CA to visit my brother once, we were there for 8 days and it didn't rain once! They were remodeling their house and had their couches sitting outside, uncovered and wasn't worried about them getting rained on! It was amazing. There's problems w/ living just about everywhere... I figure it's the 'hell you know' scenario.

I know....I've lived here my whole life too. I'm sure Ill never leave...I'll just complain to all of you.

We'll complain too. I hate when people say don't complain about the cold if you complained when it was hot. No, I can complain about anything I want, TYVM.

Got the pots washed, i was tired of looking at them. Hubby says it is nice out, 49 degrees. I am going to take my pills and have another cup of tea before i venture out.

Incidentally, it is taller than the old playpen and doesn't have those handy X cross-bars for MD to climb up.
