Ugh, that sucks. Nothing worse than getting sick and having cramps. Heating pads are very helpful for cramps.

So, Yeti (white bantam cochin 14 weeks old) starts giving off a warning call. Whitey and Smokey (2- 14 wk old Silkies) chime in too!!! I finally had to shut that noise down. You think those 2 Silkies may be boys???? Yeah, I know, hard to tell, wait until 6 months, blah, blah, blah. Don’t tell me that.

Some of my girls join in on the alarm call. They did it more when the boys were young so you could get lucky...

I want to do that too!!! Our wifi doesn’t go that far and I use an extension cord, when necessary, for electricity. If I saw someone getting picked on it would kill me not to do anything!!!
There is one for dogs and you can pop a treat to them.

Same here. Wi-Fi is spotty that far out and extension cord power. The list of wants for the new coop is growing!

Smuvers, I'm so sorry about your 3 hens that you lost. It's traumatic when it's so sudden and brutal, and I'm sure the rest of your birds are traumatized as well. I hope you are able to find out what did it, remove the threat and make any necessary adjustments/changes to prevent it from happening again.
