Tomorrow is retreat for mites. :rolleyes:

It appears my welsummer is having a crop issue. She is eating but not much and the crop at night is about golf ball size and hard. In the morning it is not fully empty but about half a golf ball in size. Breaking out the coconut oil this morning. That should be fun.

I have kept her crated this week so I can monitor her intake and out go. She does get up and move around well.

I adore my cat. He's the sweetest, funniest cat I've ever had, and that's saying a lot because we've been blessed with some really good ones.
I just don't adore him (or anyone) in the first 30 minutes of being awake. He's so happy to see me in the morning he's like a drunk with an inner ear infection. He literally cannot stay upright because he's so busy rubbing against me and everything else to show his

I like quiet when I'm waking up. I make my coffee and get back in bed to read the (always awful) news and catch up here while the neurons come back on-line before I go out to feed the chickens and do all the other morning chores.
He knocked over my coffee cup on the bedside table first thing! I had to jump up, save everything from the tsunami, run for towels etc.
ugh.
Plus I'll be hosting a virtual cupcake factory in my kitchen this morning (alone) since my daughter's boss's bday is today and she told everyone (but me-until last night) that she'd be bringing in her mom's "special cupcakes" to work today for everybody!
