It appears my welsummer is having a crop issue. She is eating but not much and the crop at night is about golf ball size and hard. In the morning it is not fully empty but about half a golf ball in size. Breaking out the coconut oil this morning. That should be fun.

I have kept her crated this week so I can monitor her intake and out go. She does get up and move around well.

Some of mine will gladly eat coconut oil. Others are suspicious. Because I have VCO and it's solid I'll put a little blob on my finger and they take it. Ones that don't I'll put the blob on their beak and as it melts the lick it off.
Not something I do all the time. When I was greasing up the boys combs I offered it. One girl in particular loves it.

That should be easy enough. I have her crated in a home made 2x4x2 crate in the coop. The top opens for ease of getting the birds.

She is gonna hate me but its for her own good.
