Official Squatch Watchers

Sound a a little scary. Bring treats!
And maybe a snack for yourself because you might have to stay out there with them as the supervisor!
That's why I'm doing everything at once so everyone will be confused and not just one. They all will have to learn their new place hopefully my cockerel will get a handle on it quickly

Well crap! The dead bird curse has struck again.
My leghorn is no more.

No idea what went wrong as she was fine this morning.
She was almost 3 so for a leghorn I am not surprised to lose her.

Sorry hun

Its OK Smuv and Sammy. I wasn't really surprised as she was one of the tow yard chickens and none of them have done well. The only tow yard birds left are the Welsummer and she ain't great at all and the SS which neither lay.

I may do some serious downsizing. Getting to be a bit much and I ask not enjoying them as much as I did with fewer birds.
Birds to go would be the evil sex links, the crooked beaked Orpington, and the tow yard remainders.
Hard to decide about my Cochin's, Orpingtons and Australorp.
I would be happier with 20 or fewer birds.

RJ!! That's a great raise! I shall celebrate with you.

I still luv ya Henny.... and I can understand.... :hugs

And good on RJ about his raise... I bet HE wouldn't make fun of my JAMON!!!

Jam on it... which I JUST found out today is actually pronounced Ham moan.... even better nes pas?!?!? ::: eyebrow wiggle :::

Its OK really. While she was here she had clean water, good food and nice housing. Much much better then where she came from.

I am going to work on a list of who can go. I gotta get the flock size down so I don't have to work so hard.
