:frowHey squatchers

It took me all morning on and off to get caught up here enough to say I think I have a little stomach bug and I'm taking the dog and getting back in bed for a while.

I'll catch up again later.

It was the outside of the yolk. The membrane that holds the yolk together had that cloud pattern. It was pretty really. So unusual.

Lol! I got the uncontrollable giggles bra shopping, Burla my sales lady kept treating me like an average nitwit shopper showing me butt floss, rhinestones, lace, fringes even one bra that tied shut...not practical. Even weirder, she was easily in her sixties so i had an adorable little meemaw trying to spice up my no no's. I finally told her i was 43 don't exercise, not fishing, just wanted a comfy bra that would stretch enough to hold a couple of chicks if needed. With this she left me be and took a smoke break. :lau

I can't stand it either b/c my mom used it to wash my nephew's pee clothes but it never totally covered the smell so now all I can smell is covered pee smell. We usually use all free & clear b/c my tiny human, but I loves me some candles. I have wayyyyyy too many and probably won't even use them all up before I die.
:lau:gig:lau:gig Nephews pee clothes.....I'm dying here. :gig

@apryl29 Both boys waddles look good. A little smaller but healed. The first boy to get blisters on his comb (Captain) looks fine. A little dry and waxy on the tops but I think it will heal. Poor Trouble is going to have a new profile. I knew that back portion was going to come off. Most of his tips will too. The last 2 points are flat just above the red healthy part. Like it was pinched with pliers. The very front looks just like the back did. Looks like a cap will come off. Hopefully in a much nicer fashion.

In the 20’s today and supposed to go to 50 on Thursday. Then drop again for a few days and back up. Rain, rain, snow, rain, rain snow mix....:th

If the white stuff disappears the birds will come out. Boy do they need out! Getting stir crazy being cooped up. They can go out, just won’t.
Poor guys. Hopefully this dubbing will keep it from being an issue again next year. I have several who have little white nubs on the tips of their combs, but I'm not as worried about those now.

Anyone ever see this in an egg? My BCM laid it. Think it was one of her first after molt. The shell was wrinkled at the point but nothing else strange from the outside.
I've had that happen before, a couple times. No idea why it happened, but I didn't eat them.

It is so nasty and squishy outside, we had like 3 days of solid rain and now the ground makes a horrible obscene sound when you or anything walks. That's all you hear...squish, squish, squish! 14 little chicken feet just squishing away. Took a good look at the rooster's comb it looks like he might lose the very tips but he looks way better than he did. He's getting some impressive little doodle spurs too! Finally he'll be able to do more than throw the stink eye for defense. :)

:frow Took a break yesterday, but am totally caught up, no skipping. Breakfast was great, thanks for taking up the slack :bow

My break was only from here, Bailey puppy had training, so of course DD#s 2-4 came, along with #3s service dog, Trixie. Then went to my mom's and worked on stuff for DD#2, then eventually came home and did more stuff, then kitchen chicken time, and eventually bed. Weekends are just as busy, if not more busy, than weekdays. Momma needs a break
