That is pure cuteness straight outta the shell.
You are a lucky mama allllllll around. Yo got the MD and a box full of potential. Who could ask for anything more?

HIYA GANG!!!

So, I want to enlist your help with ZAVIERS HOMESCHOOLING PROJECT!!!

If you would LIKE TO, write a short, 4-6 sentence paragraph about your chickens or dogs or flowers or garden or whatever. We are doing some practice reading and writing and comprehension. He totally HATES his book stories, but seems to like to read y'alls posts.
I'm on it. What reading grade level is he on ?

Let me take you on a tour of my chickens.
i have four chickens: Hannah, April, Dove, and Nicole.
Hannah and April are two peas in a pod. They are ISA Browns, and are amazing egg layers. They are very friendly, but sometimes they annoy my mom, because they will stay on our porch looking for handouts, and they poop all over it.
Nicole is a very flighty barred rock. When I trying to catch her and put her to bed, I have often ended up tripping on her because she is so desperate to escape, and then apologizing profusely as she walks away indignantly.
Dove is... special. She is a chocolate orpington, and more rare than the other birds. She chases moths through the air and looks really silly. She doesn't seem to understand the concept of egg laying. She'll go to the nesting box, sit there for an hour or so, then waltz out looking proud, and the egg will fall out as she strolls down the ramp.
Love them!
I have porch poopers too!
I try to sweep, scrub or hose every day. They especially love to poop right after I've put all the cleaning things away!

Ok, need opinions. I'm selling some EE eggs and some of the ameracuna eggs while they obviously won't hatch to be completely either one the buyer is aware. The thing is i was asked about EE color and i can honestly say i don't flipping know! They used to be green but she's doing butt magic now sooo.View attachment 1264911What color is the egg on the left to y'all? The ameracuna is on the right. It looks gray to me.
Peach

Eggs in the incubator (which I already have). Although the incubator is the bane of my existence now. It keeps getting close to too hot or the humidity is swinging wildly.

Oh you better be kidding woman lol! I've heard pink, brown and now peach. I'm selling these eggs to a newbie who wants a chance at colored eggs from "pretty hens with beards" I'm feeding a brand new addict basically. Told her about the chance of extra toes, honestly though she was going to hyperventilate. :lau
