OMG I'm SO EXCITED!!!! DH was banging away in the garage building something very mysteriously while I was shoveling a ton of smelly, gross muck out of the Cemani run (I was hoping it was a little Serama coop, lol!)

He finally let me see what it is. He made me an altar for my yoga room. It is GORGEOUS. When I get my urn I'm gonna put my mom's ashes on there. Check it out:

Now he just needs to stain it. I'm thinking like a deep mahogany auburny color.

I love it! Very impressive! Mine is building me a bridge!

Yep.....I think the bottom one is hers. All of my BC eggs are more round shape like that one. Amazingly big for their size

I’m so excited! I’ll have to look in my egg cartons and see how many others are hers. I’ve never seen her in a nest box but YIPPY!

I love Disturbed!! Sickness was one of me and hubby's first lovesongs when we first got together (ah WAH AH AH AH!!!!! Ugh. Ugh. So romantic, no?). He would always tell me he was down with my sickness. You're right, they do sound a little constipated.

Hello everyone!

The Milk Drinker only woke once last night and let me sleep until 7:30 or so this morning. I would have asked DH to let me sleep in, but I had to get up and work. I’m just finishing up working now and I’ll have to make dinner as soon as I am finished. But, between the starts and stops of work today, I was able to stitch all the squares of the afghan I’m making for my sister together. It’s going a lot faster than I expected. I hope that it stretches a bit because it is smaller than I was intending it to be. At worst I just need to put a wider border around the whole thing.

Years ago (20+) I had a pattern using the doily thread for cute butterflies. I wish I could find it.
They made cute ornaments for little girls hair and adorable plant pokes.
I think the wingspan was about 2 inches.

You got more grit then I to make it through a whole afghan.
