Official Squatch Watchers

And Stacey, i think stress tests are useless myself. I have had a couple myself. All i found out is that i have a coronary artery 50% blocked and they don't do anything about it. And they said i will always have an abnormal stress test so don't bother having any more. I guess i am just supposed to wait until i have a heart attack before they do anything! Crappy doctors!

I agree with you Cappy.
One of my best friends husbands went through a similar situation as this a year ago he had to stress test that both supposedly turned out fine yet his chest heaviness continued whenever he worked in his small yard.
He returned to his doctor the third time and luckily his doctor said he was a big believer in listening to your body. He scheduled a cardiac cath.
It was discovered that he had two vessels that were almost completely blocked. One was 95% one was 93%. He also had one that was 70% blocked. They placed two stents and put him on a plaque busting medication to address the third. He is doing very well now, but his doctor said had they not done the cath ...he would have “had the big one”.

This worries me!

Omg, he is just adorable! Why not set up an exercise pen with papers on the floor so he can go there while you sleep?
I’m trying hard to keep him from “going” in the house and crate training as well.

@pitbullmomma , correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe bladder maturity does not occur until 16 to 20 weeks of age. So in the meantime he can only go for 2 to 3 hours between Pee pees , and wakes up and screams and cries when he has to go.
since the breeder had them litter trained, I’m trying to keep on track with his bodily needs.
I keep telling myself it’s only for a month or so till the time stretches out some more. Lol.

Yeah, i get chest pain from time to time. I do have nitro just in case. ALL of Dads siblings died of heart conditions as did he. Heart disease is serious stuff. I need to lose weight.

Hi friends! Sorry I have been away for so long.

Here is the DH update: doctor prescribed nuclear medicine cardiac stress test due to chest discomfort and arm tingling.
followed by forced/strongly suggested vacation at home to rest and relax. (Neither of which he did- rest OR relax.)
He is textbook type A.

Stress test was relatively uneventful, with two old ladies who both out ran him he said, much to his embarrassment. Waited five days for the results.

The results basically said everything looks fine. Let us know if symptoms persist. Which they have. EKG looks normal, cardiac enzymes OK too.
They have kind of left it hanging in the air and said they may repeat the stress test in a month.

While DH was off he embarked upon a honey dont do it job UNDER THE HOUSE in the crawl space
and which took the better part of THREE DAYS
where I made him face time me the whole time in case he had a heart attack under there.
I make a point of never crawling under a house where it’s dark and creepy, but was fully prepared to drag him out from Under there on a plastic toboggan that I actually got out of her attic just in case I needed to do CPR on him.

No offense to Sammy or RJ, but all the married ladies, or formerly married ladies on here, I’m sure will understand that kind of stress involved with having your husband home “sick” ....

Then as a showstopping surprise, DH had been working on a 34th anniversary gift to me (both of us)
WHICH WAS A PUPPY...
dear god ...
Who we have now had since Saturday and I am thoroughly exhausted from getting up every two hours at night and keeping everything dangerous out of his little mouth and this poor little puppy still does not have a name although we are working on it…
It was an incredibly sweet gesture on DH’s part although it has certainly brought into the light that I am getting old as heck.
Because this little guy is
WEARING ME OUT.

I have missed you all and apologize for my absence.
If anyone has any major news please tag me or message me to tell me about it because there is NO WAY I can catch up.

Name suggestions welcome...
Human names preferred but not necessarily required.
Here’s the face to go with it:

They didn’t give him
Nitro. Nor did they prescribe anything that could help him relax even though he asked because I told him to.
His doctor said yeah...no.
All that stuff is habit forming.

That is a bunch of crap. I have Xanax and Soma. Bottles are half full and 10 years old. I only take it when i really need it. Sure, lets make everyone miserable because of a percentage are abusers!

Oh, BTW @Smuvers Farm, how does PIC like the blog?

He's *read* 2 posts... and then he lost the link! And didn't tell me... the little grrrrr

@Smuvers Farm cat nip or cat mint is a crazy growing perennial! The bees love it. But be warned so will the cats. I used to trim it and then find the cats in love with my shoes! Never even dried the stuff. They were indoor only. A few times we would go out front and find all the plants layed out-- guess someone took a nap in them.

Salvia is a bee loved plant too.
It comes in light blue, dark blue, pink and purple.

I voted too.
I have some long ones that have gone on for several years.

We discovered this by accident last year. Bees LOVE Anise and Basil.

I answered for ya.

Whoo @Smuvers Farm, chives! Chives come back and they've got a neat purple flower the bees love....plus you can cook with Pic's bee garden. :)

Just posting all the butterfly bee posts into one post I can easily find!

WB @staceyj you were very much missed.
@KikisGirls I voted
@rjohns I read them all Skipper... but I have no life!! :D
@TexasSam glad to see the pipper popped!
@Anansi you forgot to pick up blueberries!

HUGS to anyone I missed. Snow on the ground (YUCK) and tons of things I need to get done today. Body is sore as hell... I keep sleeping on my right shoulder wrong so still can't lift it over my head.
